"I know that that word [Epic] is used a lot today but this is the first time in a VERY
long time that I wanted to clap at the end of a film...The story was excellently paced
and made sense....I watched this movie in a theater full of youngsters, oldsters, old
fans and newbies to the Star Trek mythos. It held up for all of the groups and there was
even a moment where the audience applauded. I will buy this when it comes out of
DVD....A! [Rating]

with my jaw stuck to the sticky movie theater flooring...I thought the script was well
written. Action is great. And it has great humor as well. Again I'm no Star Trek fan or

"I saw the movie tonight and I was blown away. The movie was excellent on its own. But
when you add in the references to the original series, and the integrity with which the
younger characters are true to the original characters, I cannot say enough good things
about it. I want to see it again!"

The first thing I thought walking out of the
theater is I want to see more of those characters!
The "A" says it all! Outstanding!! ...the director had a solid story to work with and had
a great vision of what he needed to do to take Star Trek to a whole new level.

captivates the viewer from the opening, heart-pounding sequence and never stops until
after the credits start rolling. The balance between action, adventure, love, drama,
history, the present day, earth-based scenes vs space scenes is kept throughout the film
so that non-trekkers will love it as much as Trekkers...Star Trek is a WINNER! I will see
this film over and over in the weeks to come, I'm sure!"
